Advanced International Aviation Academy is a SEVIS, SEVP certified school by US Department of Homeland Security and US Immigration & Customs.

Once you are accepted into our SEVP-certified school, AIA Academy’s designated school official “DSO” will send you a document called the Form I-20, “Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status.” The Form I-20 is a paper record of your information in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) database. Students who wish to attend our school, are provided with documents to apply for M1 student visa, if they meet the admission requirements. You must also obtain a separate Form I-20 for any eligible dependents you plan to bring to the United States with you.

Visit the US Government website for Student Visa Information : studyinthestates.dhs.gov

Once you receive your I-20 form from AIA Academy, make sure you sign and date the form. Then, you must pay the I-901 SEVIS fee online at www.fmjfee.com. This fee is paid towards maintaining the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) used by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Then contact your local U.S. Embassy to make an appointment to apply for your M-1 Visa.  This Visa interview appointment process could take several weeks, depending on the appointment waiting list.
